We are seeking a Regional Long-Term Care Ombuds (RLTCO) to advocate for the health, safety, and rights of residents in long-term care facilities throughout King County. This role includes complaint investigation and resolution, policy and systems advocacy, volunteer recruitment and training, and community outreach. The RLTCO also supervises staff and volunteers while serving as a visible representative of the State Office of the Long-Term Care Ombuds.
Salary: $35.73–$46.75/hr (DOE)
Regular Full-time Regional King County Long-Term Care Ombuds Program: Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The CW Regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman provides resources to empower individuals, families, and the community to help ensure the safety and dignity of all residents in long-term care settings. This is done by educating residents, staff, family, and the larger community about the rights and laws that protect residents living in long-term care facilities. The CW Regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman is a visible advocate who will actively visit long-term care facilities and receive and respond to complaints filed by, or on behalf of, a resident. CW Regional Long-Term Care Ombudsman shall promote both individual and systematic complaint resolution activities, including community involvement, administrative and legislative monitoring and reporting.
