Local Ombudsman programs are located throughout the state. The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program collaborates and contracts with regional non-profits or similar entities to provide ombudsman services to long-term care residents. Please get in touch with your local long-term care Ombuds for prompt help with complaints, questions, information, and referral.
- If you are living in a long-term care facility and see an Ombuds, you can ask to meet privately with the Ombuds.
- Ombuds are also available to meet with Resident and Family Councils.
